The Airoh GP550S Full Face Helmet in Matt Skyline Black is Airoh's most advanced sports helmet yet, building on the success of the GP500 model. This helmet is designed for top-level racing, seen in MotoGP, WSBK, BSB, Moto America, and more. The shell is made from Airoh's 'High-Performance Composite', a lightweight and impact-resistant material, weighing just 1,370 grams.
As expected from a top-tier track helmet, the Airoh GP550S features a rear spoiler that not only gives it a unique profile but also stabilises the helmet at high speeds and improves aerodynamics. Staying cool is crucial, and the GP550S excels with six air inlets on the front, which are easy to open and close while riding, and rear exhausts to effectively extract hot air.
The visor, designed mainly for track use, has anti-scratch and UV treatments and a tool-free removal system for quick changes. Every GP550S comes with both a dark smoked visor and a clear visor, both pin-lock and tear-off ready, with a pin-lock lens included.
Inside, the helmet's padding is hypoallergenic, removable, and washable, keeping it fresh for longer. The emergency fast-release system allows the helmet to be safely removed in an accident by simply pulling the designated tabs.
